When I completed my primary seven, my mother told me she could not afford to pay my school fees at secondary level, so she told me to either stay at home or repeat primary seven.

OCA’s scholarship came at the right time when I had lost hope and if it were not for their efforts, I would surely have got pregnant just like many other girls do. After the scholarship, I managed to continue with my studies and now I have a certificate in secretarial studies.  I am now well informed and want to continue with my studies at Diploma level in business management so that I may be able to pay for my siblings in school.

I really wish International Refugee Trust (IRT) through OCA, continues to support more girls with their sponsorship programme.
